Former Rep now manager of same office!!!

I thought union rep was a step up to management. Our union rep is the DOM's pet. He is absolutely useless as a rep but he is desperate to be management..

Its not a disease thats catching! its cause we as MEMBERS dont tell reps what we want and they are working to HQs agender! If we as members have a problem its up to US to sort it out! Paul i respect you on here more than most but please dont blame OUR failures on our hard pressed local reps, if we have a problem with reps then as members we can sort it out at local or regional level with EASE but the way this thread is going its like ALL rather than one or two reps are to blame and that aint good enough for me! They do a sh*t job for NO pay for people that just cant or wont get or understand the stress and hours of work they do every day for NOTHING! You two would do well to stand for your office commitee and fight it out with any w*nkers you ARE FACED with in your offices ME THINKS! Good luck Brother.

You're right there! We've occasionally had poor Reps (who hasn't at some point?). But we tried (and succeeded) to do something about it. As a result, we have excellent Reps.

My rep sure does a s**t job for no pay. He has the cushiest FT round in the office and stil does bugger all unless it effects him, then he gets stressed. Most reps I am sure are brilliant and do a thankless task but mine does not. We as members at our place often inform him of his errors and he goes deaf So does the area ( I must pop in and see you soon but never does) rep. NFI disease by the pair of them whom we are paying every week and thats been increased!

I do H & S rep with a passion for FREE and I aint taking no more on>
