Do they ask?
As I'm not employed by RM i'm not sure how they went about it, but it doesn't sound like logistics have been given much of a choice? I've had quite a few phone calls today all saying they are being changed, so far it does seem to be in different offices but all have the prefix 350 on their pay numbers. None of them seem particularly happy about it, but sound like they are just resigned to the fact they have no choice? It does seem that alot of errors are made on peoples pay so to wait a month to sort it out for them would be a nightmare for Sheffield i would think.

Re: Do they ask?
350 is for MDEC workers. Don't know if the prefix covers other areas of the business as well though.Commsaver wrote:As I'm not employed by RM i'm not sure how they went about it, but it doesn't sound like logistics have been given much of a choice? SUBSCRIPTIONS
I would think this is still OK as we have pay deductions for both weekly and monthly paid staff under the same deduction code, so this shouldn't be a problem. It might mean that the amount is a bit strange to allow for the 52 weeks eg £1 is changed to £4.33 per month to allow for 4 week and 5 week monthscomrade wrote:can i pay my cwu subs monthly?

monthly pay
To change from weekly to monthly pay would involve a change of employment contract any thin else is not legal
