Some clearly have more time than others !!! trouble is the degenerate way the union bashing is done 'boss' i'd rather have the protection of the cwu than trust to luck like you'd seem to think as the better option ............but there again the no1 company stooge would think that was o.k

you can never ever , trust management in the public sector - union dues is insurance money against incompetence , "pressure " & lack of professionalism - if you're "protected by "the system '" or a "favoured son " - that's a gamble you can take - some people have had rude awakenings :hmmmm

the other point for the " I posted a letter once so I know what I'm talking about " and the Fluffy side is that :lfo has left a defeated man , no privatization yet , also many of his Churchillian senior managers left after the dispute - it's the bit about battles and wars ?

"If you have £1m in cash today it will buy you what £5m would have done a year ago"

Clearly Mr Leighton is absolutely delusional.

Clearly Mr Leighton is absolutely delusional.
He is perhaps referring to the imaginary wealth and power of the stock markets, not the bread, fruit, meat, petrol, gas and clothing that people in the real world need to live their lives day to day. He is not touched by our ordinary lives, nor does he care about them - to him we are as much a commodity as the services and businesses he plays with.

I had a share and two stocks for lunch today - it was a bit dry - I'll be going to the commodities market tomorrow to shop for something else.
