I think every round I have covered has a character that has to stop me to either tell me a long winded joke or have a 'humourous' moan...... It's usually an elderly man who needs to have a light hearted moan about the dustmen, the local paper boy or moan about something in the local newspaper!! It doesn't just take a few moments though, no, he has to whittle on for ages and ages and as I take a step away, he'll take a step to follow me!!!
Does everyone have one of these old characters?
Bless them though, it's good for them to get it off their chest! It's just a shame I can't spare more time for them.

Yeah, like "What time do you call this ?" and "Where you been ?", and "You'd get around a lot quicker if you stopped moaning" !!! He used to wait at his door everyday this old grump and just moan on at me a complain about how he gets his mail late.Public who needs 'em.
