ARGUS
2007 pay bulletin number 46
Latest Management Letters 2

You will have all received letters from Royal Mail at the weekend. These are the latest in a long line of negative campaigning from the business. This bulletin is specifically aimed at covering off the points raised by Royal Mail in the correspondence.

Parcelforce Pay
In a number of correspondences Royal Mail have stated that the CWU have accepted a similar pay offer in Parcelforce to the one currently on the table for you.

You should be aware of two key points. (1). The parcelforce pay was not based on massive ongoing cutbacks for the next 5 years and (2) It was vastly different from the Royal Mail letters offer.

We are aware that management would like you to believe that our parcelforce members only received a 2.5% pay rise but in fact the parcelforce pay deal included the following points

£45 per months basic pay rise
£11 per month increase in bonus payment
£20 per month rise in driving money
Removal of the under 18 rate so all members have exactly the same rate of pay
Free membership of benedon healthcare
All things added together our parcelforce members have received a 5.5% rise

As always we will keep you fully updated on any further developments. To join over 800 members receiving these updates via email contact us at chriswebbcwu@yahoo.co.uk .

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
