It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Message: Well said Postman. It's well worth freezing my b*lls off to let these B*rs*rds know where it is at.

By the way where is the man of the sound bite, the self publicist and ASDA barrow boy: Leighton. Why is not talking to our guys. Is it not quiet the publicity he want. has the "World now changed?"

Come on Blair (The Blue Labourite) get your boy doing his million pound job.
It shows that the barrow boy has not learnt anything at all.

He was also given a job on the commission/quango looking into changing electoral boundaries and representation in Scotland - no doubt in gratitude for his services to new Labour - see www.arbuthnottcommission.gov.uk/members.

John Keggie Is currently employed by unison and would appear to be rising through the ranks at quite a rate of knots( pardon the pun).

In defence of John Keggie, I have to say that when he was a rep in Edinburgh MLO he went out of his way to get me onto dayshift flexi hours until I could make arrangements for pre and after school hours care for my daughter after losing my wife.
Prior to this the local management had been pressuring me to resume normal duties only a few weeks after the event but John got me a breathing space at a very awkward time.

A good rep and a top guy!!

No need to defend him in my book Oscarmacca,IMO John Keggie was the best general secretary we never had.
