Of course you have - BUT you haven't been paying it as long - the problem with RM at the moment is we are in a state of flux and a repick has been long overdue - so for those with less service lifes a bitch but for the rest of us - we had our turn at the bottom of the ladder many many years ago, so we don't worry about them.

ROCKS wrote:no problem with seniority, but it not right for a 25 hour man who has been there for 6 months to get a walk before those that have been there 4/5 years then get told that we have to throw their walk up before they come in  :arrrghhh
Your problem is that duty is 25 hours and he only gets 25 hours pay whereas you get 32.5 hours hence you throw it off. Now in order for the deliveries to be brought into line then your rep would have to agree with the DOM to allow that duty to become 32.5 hours so you could pick it, however in order to keep the work plan balanced then another duty would have to become 25 hours so, the 25 hour guy could pick it, which in turn would displace someone else. Not quite as simple as it looks eh?

But we get a day off, so can only do 20% on the week when our day of is saturday, all other times its 25%.

Whoever does it on your day off has to also do his/her 20% unless by mutual agreement you do them all

It's an ad-hoc argreement in my office that it's only the duty holder that does the D2Ds, the floater does not have to do any but if the full agreement was enforced then everyone would only do 20% per day (with the floater getting a full weeks money every 5 weeks).
