you quote 2 people you wouldn't want anything to do with but at least presently you know where they are and where they're coming from. IMHO your choice is like a boxers corner man ferociously supporting his fighter during the fight but inbetween rounds, off camera and out of sight of the public cutting him to give the corner man something to do in an attempt to make him look competent.F0zziebear wrote:In summary I would argue that Allan Leighton is a shrewd operator and to be honest would prefer him on my team rather than facing him. Now you may disagree with this, but having worked in the prviate sector he is seen as a formidable character. Having said that I am under no illusion about how he operates be it in ASDA or RM. I suppose he is up there with Campbell and Mandelson, neither of whom I would want anything to do with, but would prefer them batting for my team rather than leaking stories and plotting against me.
I do not believe his is trustworthy, and i would possibly swap the word shrewd for devious or maybe just plain lucky, at this point i'm not sure.
Putting crozier on the frontline for a couple of months was an idea he nicked from Dyson, as thats what all new starters at Dyson do regardless of what level they enter business, also a couple of months on 13k a week doesn't make that man any good eiither.
