This from the National Agreement on uniform...celerycelery wrote:From monday if we wear a blue shirt we have to tuck it in but if we wear a red shirt we dont. This has been rigorously enforced by management. Is it a nationwide idea to make us look smarter or is it a manager trying to earn brownie points with his manager?
A sample survey of customers will be arranged to test the CWU proposal to delete reference to shirts "should be tucked into trousers etc..." Results will be discussed with CWU.
I wonder how long this was ago and what was the result? We need to find out. I'd have thought in todays society people would sooner have their mail on time let alone what the delivery person looks like. Mind you they may ask the same people in a Royal Mail survey a few years ago who said that they weren't bothered what time they got their mail...In which case we're stuffed. Btw they didn't ask me. I'd love to have my mail before I set off for work

Back in June I ordered a pair of new shoes and was supplied witha pair of Magnum Viper shoes. These are leather upper and a funny spongy type sole which, to be honest, is crap, its already wearing out and they will probably have to be binned shortly.

3 months must be some sort of record, usually someone gets injured and has time off sick so the shoes last longerheapsy wrote:Back in June I ordered a pair of new shoes and was supplied witha pair of Magnum Viper shoes.
