I've used a PDA for over a week now with 70+ specials and recordeds per day. It's easy enough to use and quicker for bulk drops. Just think,21st century technology in Burslem and RM managers say we are stuck in the '70's :dance :dance :dance

We are not using them, we were given tuition on them and told to go out and just have try with them, ive used mine for one day, seems easy enough to use but, it isnt any quicker, where before you gave your card to the customer and asked them to sign and print, you now have to ask them their name and you have to enter it, then get them to sign the box, and when its p***ing down and you have to put it down so you can write a docket out when theres no answer, its just a pain, we wont be using them until theres an agreement on their use :so there

It doesn't really matter even native english peoples signatures don't resemble our language on these pdas.

Rockytony, as the lads have said, you have to put in the person who is signing for the item name, but as some others have said when you get someone who cant speak english let alone spell it, your in for time consuming problems, ive had people in the past put X down for printed name and when i asked them to sign they put another X down, it worked out in the end cus they did my pools coupon that week for me, but you can see the problems that are going to arise.. :d'oh!

Thats what i thought, but what if you go to a house where theres a couple who arnt married and the boyfriend signs for a packet thats for his girlfriend, the whole point of sign and print is so that if the signature is not legible, the printed part makes that signature legible, i dare say there are more examples but thats just one, like i say pain in the a**e :confused
