The union application form that you fill in, give's you the chance to opt out or in when you complete it.

Spot on. I just have the issue with one rep not all of em. Oh, and these two :lfo :cfolinkinpark wrote:I am for ALL local reps 100% i am not behind the people that get paid to do their job and do it badly but want all the photo calls kudos wages terms and coditions ( and an early retirement off of mine and other CWU members backs! ) that they are happy to sell down the bog to further their own political life after the CWU but still demand from a membership they have done over so badly! They dont represent me and my workmates ASPIRATIONS just their own and if some reps get the wrong idea from the example set by the leadership then its up to the office to pull them in and demand the representation they pay for but dont tarnish the 99+% of reps that do a thankless job under conditions that that lot at the top allowed in the first place and do it BLOODY WELL with the same brush!

What about, next conference we vote in a rule that says all national officers are required to do 2 months delivery and 2 weeks MC + 2 weeks RDC per year . Think of the problems it would save them, no more accusations of ivory towers and a real time in depth knowledge of how things really are. Priceless
insight

I have had some help from here already and its grand to know that help is at hand. Trouble is sometimes you need instant help when the DOM takes the P and I cant really say Hang on a minute boss can I use your PC for a minute before I shoot you down in flames. Point taken tho and thank Youlinkinpark wrote:I hate them two f*ckers as well but now we are down to one poxy rep, you have been around enough to know that there are dozens of brill reps here that can help you! Just look out for them and PM them with your personal questions. Sorry guys, Ooops. But RMC will really help you out if you let it! I can think of at least 3 times that reps on RMC have helped me out. + a dozen times that i have PMd members of RMC for advice and its been golden! Many thanks to them all they aint the enemy but they just might not know. Your here on RMC so try to help the REP yourself and other members, ask and act! Good luck Brother.paul_skinback wrote:Spot on. I just have the issue with one rep not all of em. Regarding helping the rep he's beyond it! A sufferer of NFI big time, but other good stuff form here is and will continue to be passed on.
Good Luck to you as well we will need it over the next few years!

Paul why don't you go as assistant rep, it would give you a chance to put yours and the rest of the people who support your views across, and you would only have to cover the rep when he was on A/L or on S/L, by working together you might find that you have more in common then you think

Good point however he has a deputy and the deputy has no input whatsoever cos we think the senior rep is just power hungry and wont deligate. If we go o the deputy the deputy has to go to him and he then he still does nowt. The deputy then gets mad.rockytony67 wrote:Paul why don't you go as assistant rep, it would give you a chance to put yours and the rest of the people who support your views across, and you would only have to cover the rep when he was on A/L or on S/L, by working together you might find that you have more in common then you think
He relly is unmovable unless of course he has a prob and then it takes a front seat and we all hear about it. he only rants a raves about rules and regs when the boss aint around otherwise he is silent.
Watch this space as just talking bout the twat is really making me like the Condom that flew across the room ..................Pi55ed off!

Judging by what you just said. It might be a good idea to have a word with your Deputy Rep, to see if he'd be willing to take over as the Main Rep. If so, you could try to get the bad Rep removed, to make room for him. Someone more knowledgable than me, will be able to tell you the correct procedure for doing so. But I do know, that it's possible.paul_skinback wrote:Good point however he has a deputy and the deputy has no input whatsoever cos we think the senior rep is just power hungry and wont deligate.
