Very quiet today in my DO - was it any coincidence they decided today would be the day that they brought in lapsing 1 walk per section on Mondays and Tuesdays :hmmmm . Cynical ain't I.

I section, mine, stood against it and we will be briefed tomorrow.

Wasn`t that bad really, especially as the guy next to me didn`t turn in and the lino was desperate for us to do it on overtime, only thing is last week we had to do Summer/Autum/ Winter lapsaping all week and even the usual docket kings turned her down this time, she then `tried` bullying me into taking a few streets as `I have time` to spare, pity I`ve got a note off my mum( ATOS) restricting my delivery coverage.
Still it was nice of her to ask politely and even better when I saw her out delivering it later on.

Got moaned at on Monday for folding an old dears "You have won £1000000" letter in half. Tried explaining that it's impossible to get the letter through without folding it, because if you just shove it in, it crumples. She explained that her letterrbox is fine and if I come round the other side I can see that I just have to put it in at an angle of something degrees and it would be fine. How would I know what her letterbox looks like on the other side of the door? It was like talking to a brick wall. First letter 09.50 last letter 13.25
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Tuesday cut off after only doing about 3/4 of the delivery. Very heavy on packets and Signed For. Left loads of P739's. Started delivery at 0950, cut off at 1235 as casual did my last 2 bags. Got back to office and had to do sorting for 20mins until 1255 then finished for the day.
Today very heavy on letters, cut off again leaving 1 bag. Started delivery at 1035 cut off at 1320. Back to the office for 1330 then finished for the day.

My claim to fame in my office is that I am top of the league for cutting off. :dance . Will not and never will work over my contracted hours.

Our DOM called a huddle. He and the CWU rep stood there and told us that when we came back we would find a voting letter on our frames. It is to vote on changing to 5 man sections, and all the forms have to be returned by friday.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

5 Man sections - sounds like a sneaky way to introduce either starburst or covering when absent. Did they explain the reasons behind the change and what the implications where. Also did the Union back it :hmmmm
