WHERE DO YOU THINK THE NEW NORTHAMPTON MAIL CENTER WILL BE?
Assuming that NN-CV-MK offices will be merged, where do you think the new one will be?

If i had to guess I would say Northampton as its the central one of the 3 mentioned and its near some major road links. However, I don't think they should close or make super Mail Centres unless they can prove that it wont hurt local economies and won't affect delivery timings from the DOs they feed.

Isn't there spare capacity at "Crick" Ideally located on the Junctions of the motorway for Coventry, M.1 & M.6, with Milton Keynes only 40 minutes away.
And even if there is no current capacity within the existing building, their is plenty of land to the side ready for expansion.
We at Milton Keynes have been aware of the expected closure for a number of years, when the "Mech" was pulled out a number of years ago the writing was on the wall, the wind down had begun, the building is to small for the latest machinery, the early shift is now none existent. Talk of moving to a new industrial estate within MK by the M.1 at Fen Farm, Jct 13/14 is just "Pie in the sky"

Well according to the bbc they have planning permission to build it on swan valley northampton, an industrial estate just outside the town.
