Hello - when did the good old days become not so good? The job was still pretty good up to a few years ago, even better ten years ago!

As soon as we bacame a business not a service and Single Daily Delivery was introduced was imho when it all went downhill :sad:

Welcome to RMC walkholder hope you like the site. I started just as SDD was being implemented so I don't know anything before that but for me SDD is now the "Good Old Days" - sad ain't it.

Before 1993 just about best job around :Very Happy

Things went downhill from 1993.


1993-2004 ----------getting steadily worse.
2004-2008 ----------absolute c__p. :neutral:

We the postmen have ruined the job be not doing the job as it should be done i,e, starting early,dashing around looking for the early dart or finish this is fact and when the union sold us for 30 piecies of silver that was the end for all of us now we as a unit need to do sometime or there will be nothing left only memories of the way we where .
