Are you useing a van for how do you get back to the office for a toilet break (A p*ss)!. Or are your managers extracting the p*ss out of all of you!.

So that would equate to how our driver's over here do the job sometime's they can be out all day apart for a quickee when they get back to the D/O!. If you have too go then you have to go back to the D/O!.

This is a leaflet that was handed out yesterday to the 500 or so senior Reps present at the Northampton Briefing.

It put a few different opinions into the mix as a response to the CWU PEC documents you can read above. It is an attempt to help people discuss and think about the different issues we all have to face, so we can take the right policies to the members.

Things are in flux around some of the details of how we go forward, but as a whole the Reps recognise we have serious challenges to step up to, and we have to fight for the sort of 'modernisation' agreement that will benefit posties, rather than just save money for the company.

Do you have a CWU Rep? If so, why haven't your 5-6 hr deliveries been reduced?

Rurals are supposed to be 4.5 hrs maximum. As usual RM will feed you whatever bullsh*t suits them.

Ah, just noticed that your 5-6 hr duties are in vans.

DOH!

The 4.5 hr limit applies to foot walks, and driving deliveries will be exempt.

You do need access to facilities though: toilets, meal break stops to eat a warm meal in winter, for instance.

I think you'll find that it's 3 1/2 hours for town walks and every thing else will have a van.

Any walk should be only 3 1/2 hours and only if there is a van should it be over that limit.
