Ok first I'll admit i don't know the in's and out's on this one but here is what our depot has heard about Amazon work for Dec;
1/ Some bright spark up top has promised them Delivery's on the 27th. :cfo
2/ Amazon at Swansea want a dispatch every 30-40mins 24/7. :chuckle
3/ Have requested only RM drivers pick up the work from their site.
4/ Estimated forecast for the final dispatch day is 1,000 york's. :left:

Like i said this is only bits we have heard along with the majority of work being farmed out to 4-5 close MC's
If anyone can verify any of this please let the guys know.

Packets are getting bad now,we're being hammered,Amazon could tip us over the edge.
Kudos for them giving us all the work,but can't see us being cut out for it this year what with all the cuts.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Would it not be a good idea then to create new jobs if there is not the scope to do them now :hmmmm .This is one area that growth has been predicted and by the looks of it is happening :Very Happy
