Cool, I didn't know I was an activist. I thought I was an employee, undervalued, underpaid, overworked, lied to, and treated with contempt by my employer. Thanks Mr White, for showing me the truth, or at least, your version of it.
He says he has nothing to do with RM, but publishes articles endorsing the attitude that lead to last years strikes, so I can only assume he's waiting to 'wet his beak' when we are privatised.

Not so much "wet the beak" as snuffle the snout.
In fairness he does raise some points of interest but it would be a wrong conclusion to assume that the "negative" attitude of the active posters on this site are the cause of job losses. New technology will mean job losses and we have no option but to go along with it. The management must take the lions share of the blame because they have been paid well to manage the future of Royal Mail and have sadly left it too late and as usual go at it like a bull in a china shop.
You have to wonder with the advent of Northern Rock and now Bradford and Bingley being bailed out by the Government and that ultimately means you and I, where the money is going to come from - hmmmmmm maybe privatisation isn't too far away.

Mighty Whitey back to his cringe worthy best
I can't remember reading a snippet quite so packed with opinion, prejudice, inaccuracies and contradictions. Reads a bit like a brain damaged H Himmler on acid. I've grown parsnips with more well developed powers of critical reasoning

Damned if you do and damned if you don't in this game. Strikes are the same. I tend to agree with him that constant negativity doesn't help the business at all but you have to balance that with fighting sorting closures too. I guess if you took a pin and stuck it in any thread at random, it would be negative. Theres a lot in my job that I really like though.

It pain's me so much that mark white or not so whiter than white can call us all on here!. With his comment's of our less than praise for the destruction of the uk postal system and in being a user of the system mr white should know that we are the cheapest courrier in the land that deliver's day in day out too every address in the land!. It is also the product of lack of investment in it most valuble assett it's own staff and the pay and modernisation agreement has not helped this!. The pay and modernisation agreement was not voted for overwhlemingly but was a vote compromised by the very question that was put to the membership of the CWU!. I can put forward a solution to the problem of our negativeity ADAM :cfo CROZIER should leave at the sametime as :lfo and GORDON BROWN should do so NOW!.

And some will obey the party line no mater what hellfail is outwardly biased against the royal fail blue shirts. it doesn't suprise me in the least that nighty stands with them on every issue i dont know why i'm not suprised though
Can think of too many negatives why most don't like working for royal fail anymore and it's because of the lino's cowering at every word drifting down from higher up in the command chain are too afraid of loosing 'the job' and are only to willing to do anything to save there own necks (don't have spines) so force unworkable situations upon the blue shirts

most of articles showing " Royal Mail not in the best light " tend to be on Google Alerts - it's not as if we're the reporters or publishing themBELIAL wrote:Mighty Whitey back to his cringe worthy bestI can't remember reading a snippet quite so packed with opinion, prejudice, inaccuracies and contradictions. But the funniest thing of all is if this govt./business plan wins through old Mr Whites little empire will be under massive cost pressure . You can lead a horse to water, but you can't teach it cause and effect

what a strange article , like someone else said full of contradictions.
"why should it just be the bankers, politicians and the idle rich who get all the best things ? we demand a standard of living for our members that enables them to share in the fine wines and times that the likes of Cameron and his Eton buddies take for granted " - the late great Bob Crow RIP.
