dom suspended for leaving mail in the do.
My dom was suspended last week for leaving mail in the sorting office. He goes on holiday on the friday(after sacking a postman who's van was stolen, appeal pending) and didnt come in until last wednesday.I came back to the office, to find the dom's boss doing a surprise visit, mail building up and not going out, yorks full of packets not gone out for a week.Photos being took, and some of the staff telling him how bad it is getting.

And was the follow up song "Ain't No Sunshine When Your Gone"?
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

If the bosses were to follow the rules consistently then most of the DOMs would be disciplined.
TBH, the management have no clue what is going on, all they know is what is told to them by the junior managers (who will just tell them what they want to hear so that they can get their bonuses).
