Strange view as I posted the original story about the SW attending the rally I went to, but the very next post you took a swipe at them and it continued from there. The thread title may mention postal matters but your post seems to have started an interesting discussion about the SWPs principles and on the other side the denigration of those views, the last few pages seem to follow the same line so in my honest opinion its following a thread, perhaps not the original, but certainly worthy of allowing it to continue.

¿Por qué, lo que hace eso demuestra lo que sé o no sé de Bolivia? Usted es realmente tal Campana arrogante del tonto. Esto es español, pero eso está cerca suficiente para el ignorante como usted mismo. :hmmmm

But more importantly, why would anyone hanker after a system tried in many countries, and then the inhabitants of those same countries couldn't wait to rid themselves of it? Do the SWP know something every one else has missed?
I know the SWP is the white pasty-faced English middle class version of the hard Left, but still close enough to the Real Thing for Wolfie and friends.

People are just fed-up with the mainstream polital parties, people do laugh at the SWP (as far as I am concerned they were there for the CWU when we were on strike last year, and they did give us alot of postitive reporting). If normal working class people gave them more support (Ok! they might have to make a few changes) they could probably stand a good chance during the elections because at the moment has a working class person the Labour are not really meeting working class needs and the trade unions and Labour are far apart.

for anyone interested heres the paragraph in english !!! ------Why, what does that shows what I know or not know of Bolivia? You are really so arrogant Campana's silly. This is Spanish, but this is close enough for the ignorant like yourself.

Close, but there are better on-line translators.
It was "what does it prove what I know or don't know about Bolivia", and it's not "Campana" but "Bell".
Interesting concept though, that you have to "show" what you know about a subject to back up your opinion. Should lead to some interesting in-depth posts anyway...

The old "Strawman" strategy, eh? You'll need to do better than that.

You're right though, it doesn't "advance" the argument, but then dissertations on Latin American countries hardly supports the SWP argument either.

Oh, err.. :dance :cool :cry ?

I'd settle for an extended essay ,and it would depend on the thrust of your argument .
Wats a "strawman" we'd love to know ,nothing to do with a lightweight Edward Woodward?
When you let me know I might try to do better ,don't think it's necessary though do you? :chuckle
Ps. any thoughts on Bolivia?

Umm, what would?

No, not in the slightest, but everything to do with intentionally moving the focus of the debate to another unrelated subject (in this case the SWP to Latin American politics) as a way of saving face when arguing on dodgy issues, and then bizarrely arguing about facets of the new subject.
When you let me know I might try to do better ,don't think it's necessary though do you? :chuckle
Well, yes I do, to be honest. I reckon you could do much better. You could think of it as a challenge....
Ps. any thoughts on Bolivia
Not many, truth be told. Any more for you on the SWP and it's relevance?
