Just one question - How has your office managed to be 14 people overstaffed??
TBH we could always use the extra staff in my office (we've taken in 1/2 dozen recently and it doesn't look like they'll be leaving anytime soon).

Perhaps they are not overstaffed by 14 just that the manager thinks they are. Sometimes there is a difference of perception between Management and Workers.

i even asked today if i could take a week off unpaid and was just blatantly turned down by the dom who doesnt even bother looking at me when he talks. i replied that if he wanted me to do it i wanted travel expenses up front, to which he started muttering on about a 400 quid payment that i received to do with flexible working is my travel expense.

Today I decided to start booking for my travelling time to the SPDO from the MCDO and back, lets see how long it takes them to move me back to my DO when its starts costing them

what you need to do is make sure that you are not the one they are constatnly shipping out, it is in the flexi agreement , however you will find that the same people get asked all the time, like you said you have been there not long ago when you were a casual, the management probably think you are a push over with you been a newbie, kick up a stink but they will think twice next time, ask the question why me. good luck pal
