Looked bad first thing with lots of Scottish water letters but final feed was quiet and helped get us out

It was a good day, apart from falling down the step outside the D.O. and twisting my ankle, managed to complete in time even though everyone wanted to chat to find out if I'm going to be the regular postie, told them I don't know. Saw loads of wildlife, pheasants, kestrals, rabbits(alive & roadkill), nearly ran down a few cyclists in the lanes(perhaps I should fill in the new 'nearly had an accident form')
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

hah 'the normal postie doesnt claim overtime, he might be being honest' says the manager ;liar

'finishes at 3 is what he tells me' says I, 'you must owe him a few bob'

Is a note under the managers door RM procedure for overtime please?

Mail was quite light, only 4 bags, but 30 mins into my delivery fell flat on my back right outside a co-op shop and a massive queue of people waiting for a bus! Nobody helped me up, they just all laughed, i somehow managed not to drop a single letter, and get myself back on my feet, and now have a very very sore neck 4 my efforts! Oh the joys of being a postie! Think I will be putting it in the accident book in the morning, give the bosses something to do!

How things have changed :confused a few years ago have 4 bags would be a really heavy day but now it's classed as a light day :mad

In my DO the morale has sunk even lower than I ever thought it would, all there is is a deep depression within the office  still on a lighter note the manager is under severe pressure from his boss for us being so over budget :Very Happy

Brilliant day - went to the rally which had a really good turnout. Ears are still ringing from the Pipes, Drums, Whistles and Air Horns. When we got to the Labour Conference we made a load of noise and some delegates came out and appluded us, not many but at least some showed their support.

Oh and I don't think Broon would have been happy with the rendition of "Are you Tories in disguise" :left:

Pictures will be put up in Blue shirts or News later tonight. They are up

Bit easier than usual for a Monday. Hardly any packets and it was warm and dry, so can't complain really.

Still waiting for some release for pegasus revision last release was on 12th september

My Area Delivery Rep is getting very peeved, we have a pre scheduled pegasus meeting Friday at my D.O so hopefully we can get a more stonger commitment to my release otherwise things might not run as smooth as they could.

My members voted in the pegasus revision yesterday 25 votes to 22 votes with 15 members not voting. :arrrghhh
