BLUE FRANKING INK!

Post by ewen1956 »

Might be something a bit trivial but these last few weeks I have noticed that more and more Machine Franked Mail in the delivery with Blue ink replacing the usual Red Ink. Is there a reason for this or has Blue ink always been used?

It's to distinguish it from the regular red franked meter mail - I can't remember what it's called right now but it's a premium service that is processed separately. It's machine counted and the customer is billed subsequently.
