I hate it when staff members

This thread could go on forever but what do staff members do or don't do that piss you off everyday. Here's some of mine.

As I am a floater and i am on random walks in the morning I find it really annoying people leave house holds in the frame when they take them where they are going. You can't claim for them and they have all ready handed the sheet in and if you mentioned it to the PHG they forget to include you. It takes ages to tie up as you have to slowly go through them making sure you haven't left a letter in.

Staff members who go to the toilet at the same time everyday while sorting the letters into walks. You can set your watch by these guys. They often disappear for 15-20 minutes on average every day. Who has a s**t the same time everyday. These people take the piss.

What are yours? I am sure there are millions of them.

re frames containing d2d

I am a floater and 4 of "my guys" are great - they only leave the odd d2d in single slots. The fifth is an out an' out t*t.

When his day off is Wed he boxes all his D2d in for Tue and leaves over half. Most of the frame is double slots. I am so determined not to be shafted that I come in 10mins early and remove all items, marking house numbers on dark part of item so it is only visible if you know where to look. After tying up I put everything back. It might take a bit of time but it only happens every 6 weeks and it's worth it to see his perplexed look on Thurs morning. Teehee

Do you actually do any house holds? I find it a choir trying to get house holds of people so i can do my entitled 20 percent a day. They get in a mood when you ask them to leave you some for tomorrow. Why should i lose nearly a grand a year doing the same job as them.

Members not taking meal breaks and working through them.
Members using own cars.
Members keeping boxes of mail in front of vans.
Members not filling in P739 properly.
Members runnung the rounds.

when a walkholder leaves a note telling you what streets to do the households on.......your ar$e. I decide myself depending on bag weights and volume of parcels........no i will not do the 100 door street with 50ft driveways thank you very much

The people that dont attend wtl sessions and then complain coz they dont know whats happening.
And im also a hater of the early birds, who still, even now, cant get it into thier thick skulls, to do the job properly and get in on time.
The people who literally run around the office to get thier job done.
Pig ignorant people who dont talk to anyone or say anything to anyone.

I really get pissed off at those who cannot talk and sort at the same time. They know what you look like you dont have to turn around for 5 minutes when discussing football for fecks sake.

When in the Room of Doom trying to read P739s that look a drunk spider wrote them out or those not filled out correctly.

Do your mates and co-workers in the Room of Doom a favour and fill out the cards correctly, especially the tracking numbers it really helps.

Totally agree, we get a lot of missorts at the mo coz the rounds have all changed thanks to Pegasus, so it means having a running bundle..rrraaaagghhhh!

Oh yes, those people are everywhere, just to save a few minutes.

On the other hand how about the ones who chat and chat and trot and faff about all through their prep then moan that other people are 'tie-ing up already' I have a laugh and a bit of banter but I can stay focussed!!

Spelling is not a big problem to be honest so long as its easy to read whats on the form. Good idea about description I do that as well.

I made a suggestion that all new posties should work in the Room of Doom as part of their training/induction but managers were not interested. As long as the mails out the door the Customer Service is a secondary consideration.

definatly,soon learn how important the P739's are to you then
got a guy in just now doing it as part of his light duties through a dog attack
its been quite an eye opener for him and he's fairly senior

Callers Office in our place is small , so customers are soaked in the queue before they get to you, also staff are driven mad with ringing bells as too busy to answer the phone. I don't know how they stand it.

I'm glad to be out of Callers now, my mental state has improved vastly as I'm not being verbally abused every day, (apparently the police had to take an abusive customer away the other day) and I agree everyone should do a stint in the 'Room of Doom' its not the easy job that everyone thinks it is.

I am a floater and if I find households in frame I yank em out and slap em on top of frame. i dont get paid cos I dont wanna do em period!
