On a normal day, how long does your walk take you?

The 5 I cover for are all 4 hour walks, although yesterday I started at 9am and finished at 11:20am.

Certainly was - part of the SDD agreement IIRC.

Our newly revised Pegasus walks are supposed to take 3.5 hours, but most of us are out for 4 hours minimum. Two of the three I've covered I can't get done in under 4 hours, and some days it's taking a further half hour to 40 mins, and the third one is a nightmare, I was taking about 5 hours, so was another 2 posties. That walk is being looked at and one of the managers has been round the walk with someone and agrees it is too big, so that duty now spends less time on IPS and more time on their own prepping, but not enough time to compensate!!

If you are on a new delivery then I would for the first week test it myself claiming OT when necessary. Then I would see the manager and explain that I have taken 20% d2d's as per the agreement and timed the delivery from when I walk out the door and it is too long by x minutes. I would then explain with a rep beside me that the national agreement is 3.5 hours and that I would be unable to manage x minutes.
If we deliver over 3.5 hours even with OT then RM will point out that we are happily taking the extra with no ill effect and push for a 4 to 4.5 hour delivery. We must say NO THANKS now before it is too late.
