Anyone see the article on Page 7 entitled "Fighting Our Corner" someone else touched upon it but when I read the scanned portion I could only think of Homer Do'h.

I mean if they had asked a Postman with only 6 weeks experience I am sure they could have told them the same thing, and they probably spent thousands to find out what delivery/collection posties know.

It's taken them 350 years to find out what their 'fixed' and 'marginal' costs are!!!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The issue is not that everyone knows what's happening: the issue is, it needs to be proved in black and white, i.e. on paper: to justify any expenditure, evidence must first be produced to that effect and although the company has been going for centuries, things change over time, which is why new studies are conducted.

The postal workers, liners and DUM's know what is really happening.

The heirarchy require it to be covered up. Liners & DOM's exist to cover up/lie about failure.

Been like that for decades.

You have to remember just one thing - the first rule of management in Royal Mail is, and always has been this:

THE POSTMAN IS ALWAYS WRONG.
Spanish practices - Que?
