Same here: me and another postie on a neighbouring walk met at the Post Office at 15.15 to hand in our missort pouches. I got out on time today, but it has still seemed to take a long time to complete. So - you're definitely not alone.WilsonPickett wrote:last letter 15.00 glad am not alone in finishing late!

I was trying to count the sections on JPs frame and I think its 1 x 8 for the top row and 3 x 9 for the next 3 rows. so 35 rowsfothsn wrote:

My own frame is 4 x 8 = 24 sections for 600 drops (Some are doubled up).
So if his spread is roughly the same as mine - thats 875 dp -

Yes you are,if you work to your time it makes life difficult for your line manager, but then he does'nt give a tos when he gives you more ips than should be on your duty.WilsonPickett wrote:are you allowed to just work your time and go back? or would this make likfe alot more difficult?
Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Frame sizes
But you have to take into consideration that the frame size doesn't always indicate how busy it is: I know someone who has a double frame, but the amount of mail for the corresponding geographical area is the same most days as for a single walk - sometimes he get 'blips', but otherwise: just like a single-frame walk!TrueBlueTerrier wrote:I was trying to count the sections on JPs frame and I think its 1 x 8 for the top row and 3 x 9 for the next 3 rows. so 35 rowsfothsn wrote:
