It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Seems a strange way of doing it. Pic is a bit small but from what I can see you have 8 boxes going across? In our office we have quite a few frames that big but all they have is an extra wing. So base frame with 2 wings on one side and 3 on the other.

that's too big m8, get h&s involved, according to regulations should consist of no more than 2 bases and 2 wings either side (4 wings in total).
they tried that in our office we contacted division and they soon pulled it apart.
If you looked it up on RM intranet you should find the correct information, so should your DUM.

It seems to be ok as we are not the only office with them.I know of at least 2 others in our manor, maybe more who have them and if they were a no our area health and safety rep would have knocked them on the head.Maybe its something thats been agreed locally :hmmmm i shall find out.

Put two of them together and use a step ladder to climb in. Then use a skateboard to zip around inside...you'll be thrown off in no time.
