Rest day cover duty stitchup

Post by DBur42 »

I have been doing a rest day cover duty for 3 years now, I cover the same four routes every week with Saturday being ADSO.
Every time I do this 1 particular route the regular postman has very kindly left me all the "time locks" that he could not gain access to this normally works out at about 5-7 bundles.
I know for a fact that there is no difficulty in gaing access to these places, no matter what way round you do the route.
The Postman is very happy to tell me the day before that he will be bringing back all the "timelocks",the line manager is fully aware of what he does but he is to lazy to do anything about it :arrrghhh.
The Postman himself has been disciplined before for not taking any flats out on a Saturday,he claimed he had forgotten to look on the flat sorting frames for them.
He was suspended for 2 weeks & given a slapped wrist.
What do people think is the best way of getting back at this lazy cu*t?

Time to see a rep and claim unfair application of the rules and favouritism. Both which seem to crop up at most DOs but can only be circumvented when people stand up to it.

Put in an OT docket every time you deliver this route. At some point your Dom will ask why and then you can tell him.
It is up to your dom to sort the a*se out and the quickest way to get that done is by bu**ering up his budget with OT' dockets

I make a point of never grassing up a workmate ( although i have never known anyone stealing mail and or packets or a bully at RM) but if the postie concerned is a "strike breaker" they are neither workers or mates so that would be OK.

Golden rule never grass ,but how much you willing to bet that the postie in question is a backstabbing ,up yours jack ,strikebreaker. ALL RULES SUSPENDED :Boo hoo!
