I take it you don't work at the same DO then,
maybe if you know someone who works there
they could have a word for you and point out the error of their ways.
or better still arange a call and collect from the callers office just a thought :wave

I don't mind people complaining, in fact I encourage it.

If there is a problem then the sooner they complain and make us aware of it then the sooner we can fix it. If it's a silly compaint like some of the ones our office gets then I also take pleasure in ignoring it :)
On the other hand, if it's a complaint about RM policy then I tell them to contact Postwatch.

I don't see any problem with pointing out mistakes or anything to your postie. Do it politely with the intention of improving your service and not in a derogitory or blaming fashion.

If he's in your office, a quiet word, make something up, a neighbour complaining to you about mis-deliveries or something. If it's another office, try and have a word with someone from there. He might not know or unfortunately he might not care.
I know what you mean though, if you make an official complaint you could be getting someone in deep doo-doo, so it's a tricky one. The bottom line is, if there is stuff going missing or being mis-delivered, then he's not doing his job right and you can bet yours is not the only address it's happening to.

I'm not very good at complaining, I think Smarterdarter has a good idea in arranging a 'Call and Collect' . Good luck with it.

That might be best idea. Why not set up a postbox in your delivery office and arrange your parcels, letters and stuff to be deliver there and then it will be easier.

It is not a good idea to work a delivery office outside your home zone. When I am at work I always make sure I get the packet come to me. So that way it doesn't get lost or disc get strached on the move. (and manager to sign for it so if they did a check in my home they wouldn't have a nasty shock to see so many DVDs or games)

Funny,or rather not funny enough, gal at my place used to regularly get pulled for the old 'leave 739 and not knock' trick, the bitch even done it TO ME once on my day off ffs!

Seems she's at it again as she done my neighbour,my neighbour saw her do it,then she done another house down the road which my neighbour owns and her husband was working in it and tried to chase her but lost her.

I'm thinking she's doing it everywhere,i'll have a word with her tomm, but if she carries on.........

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
