Start times mail etc.....

hello :Very Happy

im just wondering about start times
if all areas are the same

my office is 7.15am

im on 25 hour so my start time is 9am

the full timers have to throw out my walk before they touch there own walk
so i go in at 9am to find its not been touched :chuckle
it is wrong but i cant really tell them what to do.

the 1st van arrives at 7.20am
well it should but you no 30 mins later it arrives.

then the 2nd van around 9am
why cant they have all them mail on the 1st van?

also the van driver is not aloud to leave the sorting office until 8.30
even if loaded up at 8am he still has to wait before he can come back to us.

wierd rules lol

2nd lot of mail arrives at 8-830am then missorts arive at 10.15am
If your walk is not thrown in: do you have enough time to complete your delivery without taking shortcuts or using your car?
If your answer is no speak to your line manager.

hi

i do manage to get done in my time

but soon the walks are going to be rearranged and made bigger
so it will be hard for the full time people to throw my walk in before i get there
and even me i wont get done it time.

well see how it goes :Very Happy

uprising95 your office must be some distance from your Inward Mail Centre for the vans to be arriving at those times?

What arrives on the 9am van? Is it mech trays or is it the missorts?

As for start times we are 0600 Mon-Fri (0615 when it's your long weekend) & 0540 on Saturday. But the "factories" & "bulks" start at 0500.

yes the 9am van is all the missorts - flats
its about a 15 minuet drive from the post office to the mail center.
