How Crooked is your line Manager?

My Line Manager at my Office is so crooked that he even sends home people when they are doing rest day cover duties, saying that there is no work for them that day even though they have a specified duty to cover that day,then he gets "his friends" to cover the duty on O/T.
He even gets idiots to prep they walk for them too,yet still gives "his friends"extra docket for it.
The union at my office are aware of his antics,so too is my DUMB sorry my DOM but they do nothing.
Can your Line Manager beat this?

I cant see how hes getting away with this

Your office budget must be through the roof and sooner or later the brown stuff will hit the fan big time,i expect a new DOM and line manager at your place in the near future once the area manager clocks whats going on.

Been going on for a long time now,& yes our budget is through the roof,we never earn any bonuses.
Hope change happens soon.

agree - you get places that thrive on their own corruption - boy's clubs - all bad for morale - can't say I've been too upset when it hits the fan and heads roll - what goes around comes around ?

if someone "suddenly " gets suspended - tip the local rag off discreetly so the RM Machine can't close ranks and that machine is given a problem - on the basis of my enemies enemy is my friend .

These little "incidences " get found by the Google Spiders and end up on the Internet .

These local rags will "dramatize " the news - there's been cases of bent managers "who have been asked to "resign"" or "pursue another career" getting prosecuted as there's "sudden pressure ' from on high .

You'll have to stay whiter than white as there will be vultures looking for revenge as you've threatened that rotten system that these people believe in , as everyone knows they are very territorial and it's ( RM ) all they know .

He can't send people home and they are on a duty just because there is no work!
What happens to these guys that get sent home then,their hours must but up the wall for the week.
Does he change their day off,because bollox to that!!
Also the $64000 question,where's the rep in all this.

get everything logged who , what , when etc that'll s**t them up ? - far too cosy relationships there ?- do with discretion as there may be a witch hunt for the "grass " especially in these places that seem to thrive on their own corruption .

I think you need a new union rep will you or someone you trust in take up that role which is most important at this time?.
