I never ever come in early, always take my break and always work my bollocks off to finish on time. I have a daughter who I need to collect from school most days and regularly have to see a manager about getting some assistance. They look at me favourably because they see I make the effort and I never have any trouble getting it culled.

in before yer time?

Post by yougogal »

i foolishly used to go in about 5.00 (actual start time 6.42), but i soon realised what a bob end i was being! everyone is right when they say its stupid, and its especially daft doing it now that most D.Os don't let you leave till gone 8.30 at the earliest any way. i found that it dosn't put as much extra time on delivery as i thought it would too, so do yourself and your blood pressure a favour and start at your proper time.

I get in about 10 mins early just to get a parking space, fine if 'm on a town duty (4:50 start), not great if on a rural (5:00 start) although usually don't get to start until my time. Some full timers still coming in at 4:15 and one part timer coming in at 5:00 (not due to start until 6:30).

We are killing the job ourselves!!!!!!!!!

Must admit i go in early most days, usually about 20 minutes before our 5 o'clock start, basically just to give myself a head start and to have a coffe before the sorting. Our office is split about 50/50 about starting at the proper time, some p/t in before me and they are due to start at 6

   I cant believe you fell for it. :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh!

Part timers are the worst offenders in our office, i would say the average 6:15 gets in about 5.15 some at 4.45. :cfo
