Bank holiday collections
Was it just our office on Monday that didnt do any collections? We were off but for the first time since I started there wasnt any collections from PO's or businesses. It seems very strange. Is this the way forward for RM? To chase businesses away?

Up until Monday we had always had a bank holiday monday collection because not all PO's & businesses are shut. We even had a postie ready to do the collections but it was cancelled on the Friday which meant that not all the collections were notified. Some PO's had accepted SD's thinking it would be collected. Just think it is pretty shoddy of RM but no surprise really.k979aaa wrote:Im sure bank holliday collection's went as did the sunday collection's on 28/11/2007?.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
