Further to Letter to Branches 555/08 (copy to follow for ease of reference) we purchased a large quantity of personal alarms which we have been sending out to Branches at a cost of £3.00 each. Due to the popularity of the personal alarms it was necessary to increase our order which has led to a reduction in production costs and means that we are able to reduce the cost to branches to £2.75 (including postage). We will of course be reimbursing those Branches who have already purchased personal alarms at a cost of £3.00 the difference of £0.25 via the Branch rebate.

Due to the popularity of the personal alarms we are now in a position where we no longer have any left in stock. Branches should however note that we will not be re-ordering any further personal alarms until we have an idea of how many are required in the future.

A PDF of the personal alarm is contained within this Letter to Branches. If you wish to order these at a cost of £2.75 each then you should e-mail Ray Walsh at rwalsh@cwu.org stating how many you wish to order. Ray will collate the orders and we should then be in a position to decide on how many further personal alarms to order.
