I don't like the Sun and I even check a calendar to make sure they have the date right when I see a copy on the bus. Never purchased a copy since I heard about the "Gotcha" headline - for fcuk sake 323 people died. Thought the max we could get was another £400, or have I got that wrong?TrueBlueTerrier wrote:I don't like the Sun and I even check a calendar to make sure they have the date right when I see a copy on the bus. The £800 is for "ColleagueShare". You were sent a certificate last year and also received £800.
The next dividend payment is due in June 2008 and again will be £800. That is £400 for national savings and
£400 for local savings.
There is another "ColleagueShare" payment due in June 2009/10 and the minimum you will receive then is £400 (more if saving targets are met).
You should have already been paid £400 for signing up to the "flexibility agreement"

I'm lost on this one. Are we actually due to receive a cash payment this month, or blood money as we call it, or is it 'shares'? On a personal note, I would much rather have my old job back than receive this type of back-hander. It makes it almost impossible to estimate my earnings for the year for tax credit purposes, you still pay income tax on the pro-rata payment (last time I got an extra £200 in my wages, bit of a come down from £400) and it isn't pensionable (for those of you in the pension scheme). My main gripe is that if RM can afford these £400-£800 per year payouts why can they not add it to basic pay. (I already know the answer, it is a rhetorical question)

Or is it just the local savings? Have heard we are in line for about £100 give or take a little.baldrick wrote:Line managers have been telling us in WTL sessions that we have hit our business unit targets
and we will be getting "a little something" next month, so that should be the other £400 presumably.
