Re: DM26 benchmark office
1C and 2C manual letters and flats, T24 and T48 get boxed up separately but the trays go onto the same york. Mech letters, we sequence (walk sort wave 2) whatever has been released by the DTS.hans solo wrote: ↑Yesterday, 08:14You couldnt make it up

It's when he looks through for the tray containing the Radio Times or Farmers Weekly magazines, then turns one in the middle of the box and jams it at a right angle to the rest of the mags then replaces the ones on top. I bet it makes his day thinking about it later p***ing himself laughing as he drives back.....

Re: DM26 benchmark office
Yeah why does it come like that, is it how it comes off a sorting machine as surely mail centres don't employ people that much of a bell end to think it's normalyellowbelly wrote: ↑Yesterday, 13:40Ivor Smallbone wrote: ↑Yesterday, 13:00SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑Yesterday, 09:441C and 2C manual letters and flats, T24 and T48 get boxed up separately but the trays go onto the same york. Re: DM26 benchmark office
So where is the list of all these successful DM26 offices? I won’t believe it until the postmen working at them say so. We would all be watching RM TV and seeing it if it was actually working.

Re: DM26 benchmark office
Even when we're really behind we still split 1C and 2C. If the tray label for flats is yellow then it has been sorted by machine and is a direct tray. The direct trays just get sorted to the relevant yorks, we don't touch the contents. Only a few MCs have got flat sorting machines.
Trays of things like magazines just get flick checked to make sure everything in the tray is for the same DO then the tray goes straight to the yorks.
