Got nearly half a weeks wages on this weeks payslip as arrears but I have no idea why.

Re: Arrears of basic pay
Similar happened earlier this year those affected were on Wallington attendances and it was due to weekly pay going below min wage for the hours attended, (obviously it averages out but apparently that's not currently accounted for hence the payment)
Are you on a Wallington or any attendance where you do well over contract hours some weeks in order to get extra time off?
If so could be the reason

Yes to Wallington but thought that was done and dusted in regards to that situation.
Again who knows with RM

Surprised RM didn't put an end to Wally weeks under DM26 rather than have to continue making these regular payments, not that I'm complaining!!

Re: Arrears of basic pay
Wouldn't moving to monthly pay achieve the same result?

Re: Arrears of basic pay
Yes. I'm on a wally week and do not get these extra payments because I'm paid monthly. Weekly paid get them and are also paid better anyway due to weekly being on legacy and monthly being on new contracts. Another unfair (albeit accidental) aspect of the two teir workforce. HMRC regulations rather than RM policy.

No it's not, as I'm not on a Wally system.
30 hour / 9 day fortnight.
