Gates and Grass

I've not been a postman for long, but I do sometimes walk across the grass, just to save some times, but have had some neighbour moaning at me for doing this, so if I can avoid this, I will, but some people paths are a real pain, sometimes it feel like you have go around a block to get next door

Has anyone ever asked those that don't like you walking on their grass

I dont want all and sundry walking across my garden so i think to myself why would anyone else want me to do the same. For me it comes down to treating people how i wish to be treated, but hey i look at life in a strange way!

Its hardly the same as the general public using the grass as a footpath mate
