You might get more response on the Pension thread (even though you're not specifically asking about pension). But any response you get will obviously be someone's personal opinion and not financial advice. As they say 'DYOR'.

£50,000 in Premium Bonds
£20,000 in S&S ISA
The rest in a SIPP or GIA and move £20,000 per year from that into the S&S ISA.

There's many variables to consider. None of which you've told us about:

Age, attitude to risk, aims, timescale, etc.

As someone else has already said, any suggestions will be subjective and not necessarily suitable for everyone.

£200k is a lot money and an anonymous postie forum perhaps isn't the best place to get serious advice.

The rest in a SIPP....
You can only pay as much as you earn per year into pensions and get tax relief(the main benefit of a DC pension), up to a maximum of £60k. That includes employer contributions and tax relief.

As someone said, your own circumstances and attitude to risk should drive your decision.
Do you want to generate income each year?
Do you want this £200K pot to keep growing fr a few years?
Ask yourself questions like this as it affects your choice. One thing of great importance in investing is NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. In your case, as you have more than the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) maximum guaranteed amount (£120,000) don't put more than £100,000 (to allow for growth) into any one investment.
Personally I'd look at:
Cash ISA (low risk) or Stocks & Share (higher risk) ISA for £20,000 - you can put £20,000 into an ISA each year from April and the benefit is that all income is then tax free.
If you want low risk - Fixed Rate Bonds. You can get 1 Year, 2 Year up to maybe 5 Year versions and they are guaranteed returns so can't go up or down so you know exactly how much you will get back at the end of the fixed term.
Higher risk is to set up a stocks and shares portfolio - these can go up OR down so be very careful. Nowadays you can do this easily through apps like Trading212 which charge very minimal fees and can set up a portfolio based on your risk level you want.
If you are totally clueless it may be best to get proper advice but watch out as these guys have nice suits and flash cars for a reason, and that's the fees they charge.

Agree with this, considering what the OP has said, if you're still working and paying tax, I'd start off with the full entitlement of 20k in a low risk Cash ISA (or as much of this years entitlement they have left if already contributed into ISA's), as the Cash ISA allowance is being dropped to 12k (for under age 64) from April next year. Plenty of decent rates around now from big well known names.

I know Martin Lewis likes to blow his own trumpet a lot of the time but he does give out some decent information:

Then move on from there.

I wouldn’t dismiss premium bonds. If you have the maximum you should get a few hundred each month. Also no tax on your winnings unlike interest.

A few hundred a month isn't realistic. I get an average of £120 on my maximum holding

Would have to be lucky to reach a few hundred. I have averaged about £180 per month over the past 12 months but that includes a month when I won £800, which is the biggest win I’ve had in a single month.

Yes but people invest in PB because it is essentially a lottery but where you get your capital back when needed.
You get lucky or do not that is the bargain struck when you put your money in.
