Can someone give me a step by step guide on what the PDA prompts are to sign in to DPR, scan your packets up, then be able to scan them so it brings up the numbers so you can mark them up.

There are no WPC's for those that work afternoons on DPR. Often see a new Angard person being trained by another Angard person.

Unless somebody happens to have the RM DPR training material available they can upload then it's hardly a straightforward task to explain how it all works.

Work place coaches are a sore point,and I can’t believe Royal Mail are shelling out money for nothing to half of them who don’t actually do any coaching. £49 a week,2 and a half grand a year for everyone of them!!!! In our office I know of at least half a dozen who train nobody.
DPR’s are a classic example . No WPC’s at all involved in training for that. Normal drivers just get thrown a new starter “So and so is going to go out with you today,show them what to do”. I know it’s not rocket science showing the ropes,but it’s the principaI. I shouldn’t have to do it. I made a stand the other day,lost my rag with managers. Was on the cusp time wise anyway now they have reduced the time on call rates…….again. End of the day they can’t make you train somebody,and now with me kicking up a fuss I won’t be asked again!!

Really? I did wonder why the time seemed less when loading my DPR route recently but I put it down to a change in my route.

Linked to the Royal Mail DPR Excellence Award. Took us a couple of awards received in our office to click. Manager came to the office to give us the Bronze Award. Certificate issued,box of chocolates,we all get our photos taken. All very nice. Our DPR union rep did say they would reduce the call rate time. So when they rocked up with the Silver Award the drivers on shift refused to be in the photo. Must admit,the timing difference after that has become noticeable. We don’t want a Gold Award!!!!
