Had a part time uplift from 30 to 34 hours but working same hours as a full timer on 37 hours, but because of unpaid meal breaks we only get paid 34hrs. So am I full time or part time?
Part time as a FT'er would have to also take their breaks? Its an interesting move by RM though to get somebody to do a FT job but only get paid a PT salary!!

Sadly that's the way RM has always worked, it seems you have to work for RM for a decade before you are even considered for a permanent FT contract, it's almost like a very long trial period.
A decade? Closer to two. A tranche of us got made up in 2024 with an average length of service of 17.5 years and that was utterly begrudgingly (open-ended temp FT, which we rejected) only because so many FT had left after the strikes. It would have been an even longer wait if a lot of PT ahead of us in seniority hadn't chucked it too.

It has been the company's avowed plan for a long time to to have a PT majority workforce.
The machine stops.

Are you actually working 37 hours?

The CWU failed repeatedly to enforce the agreements. The length of wait is their fault.
