We’re not far off that. 8-4 (4.30 on Wednesdays), 3.00 on Saturday.

We're already finishing at 5.15pm on Wednesdays.

If you’re looking around your office and seeing failed duty’s and staff at breaking point do not panic, it’s all addressed in the LTB. Don’t believe your body or your lying eyes. Put your trust in Walsh and Ward. They are the bastions of truth and if you disagree with their wisdom then your just some sort of keyboard warrior or social media trouble maker.
I’m doing 7000 more steps and I’m absolutely f****d at the end of a shift but I know I must be tricking myself as Walsh has the hard data, I’m just a pleb to be stomped on by management and CWU alike.

Totally Agree mate they both need to spend a week at offices observing the ridiculous workloads and watch the totally inefficient way we have to work come into the yard and watch us cram the work into our now inadequate vans

Then what happens if RM attempt to discipline you n spurious grounds and you've no union to support you?

If we all left the union how long would it take RM to move to a self employed model like EVRi etc?

Whilst DM26 is bad RM's ODM would have been far worse, they'd probably also have us all working 9 to 5 if not.later.

Just because something would have been worse doesn't mean we should be grateful for something that's awful.

Not all CWU members work on delivery.
I voted no: Not because of DM26, because I knew that would be pushed through anyhow, but because the pay equalisation should have happened straight away and not be put back until Jan.

This is the CWUs play every time. You can have this s**t or you can have this s**t. Say yes to our s**t because the other s**t is even shiitier. Either way, we still get s**t.

Let’s see a list of the offices where it is a huge success then. Let’s see the people in the areas saying how great the service is.There seems to be lots of back slapping without any proof.

No one comes on social media and says their unit is working because they will be accused of being a manager or worse.

Who would waste their time coming on here to claim, true or not, that their office is great unless they were being paid? Otherwise they'd have to be really invested in the public image of RM on some non-monetary level, and there can't be that many employees fitting that description. If you're having a great time in the job then you have no reason to seek this forum out. I know I didn't - I was in the job several years before I signed up here, by coincidence I suppose, when P&L deployed and f****d it all up!

In fact, I don't think it's purely coincidental that this forum came into being two years after SDD. If you read a lot of the early posts from 2006 and 2007, and I know you've been on that long, problems in delivery extend way back. Perhaps POSTMAN can confirm if that was what prompted the creation of the forum. We'll never know if the place would have been filled with moaners in the glorious 90s or earlier had the technology existed/reached mass adoption. Maybe someone somewhere was complaining about the job on Prestel in 1988 and it's just been lost to time.

We used to sort our problems out in real time. Then the CWU took that ability away, concentrated power in a few hands and here we are. Sharing our experiences in a forum free from the censorship of the CWU. And that's what really grinds Martin's gears, the fact he can't control the narrative.

Forums usually attract the moaners, when my football team loses the match day thread is usually twice as long as when they win, likewise go on any mobile phone thread and most posts will be moaning about their devices &/or seeking assistance. Not many forum users will post "the team played great today" once one posters has posted that or "my xxxx phone has been working perfectly Since I purchased it "!!
