No, it can sometimes take police thirteen hours to arrive at the scene of an accident.

A ROYAL Mail van smashed into the front window of a house on Valley View in the Berry Hill area of Mansfield at around 8.50am on Thursday.
The red LDV van hit the right-hand side of the house's bay window shattering part of the pane, although nobody was injured in the collision.

Said Valley View resident Paul Shardlow: "I didn't see the collision but I heard two bangs which woke me up and then I came out to see what had happened."

The van was towed away at around 10am after the property was confirmed as being structurally safe.
