The state of our Union leadership is far beyond a joke now.
Can anyone have faith in a person like Ward to ever stand up against Senior Management of Royal Mail again.
And then you have Martin on here saying DM26 isn’t too bad.
Posties up and down the country are being slaughtered and these two pop up every so often with a wheelbarrow of shite

The establishment seems to be terrified of Reform. All the negative press recently. They know that Reform will get in next general election. I don't see a land of happy workers and beautiful cities after years of conservative and labour bullshit. The city centres are s**t holes, the towns decimated high streets and the countryside is full of farmers being screwed so hard they can just get by.

So you do not have the nerve to stand up for members by putting your name forward to be a rep and represent the members. Yet happy to post anonymously on here criticising those who do.

This is what is wrong with social media.

Dave and myself have fought for postal members for most of our our working lives , most of what we do goes unseen.

Only on social media do you get people posting these kind of comments who have simply no responsibility to anyone but themselves.

This company is facing its greatest threat to its future and yet most on here believe that we simply can face against change and still have an 100 thousands employed jobs.

Martin, DM26 is not the answer.

Martin you say email you, My CWU rep did email Tony Bouch with grave concerns before DM 26 was put in my office, no reply, not a single word, why should we as a office now bother with you or CWU? You've lost the respect I had for you all.

This was in the summer before DM26 was introduced, bit late now its in and a disaster, more getting left than before.

You know it's all going wrong when Martin pops up in here. Trying to distract from the CWU failure. Take Dave's posturing at the TUC in defence of collective bargaining. Martin appears to tell us about the payments available to groups of workers which is in direct opposition to collective bargaining. It's laughable.

Those acting as the leadership of the CWU are indeed in a reprehensible state and have been for decades. That's why criticism is levelled here by those who know that you cannot be a rep and challenge those who claim to lead. Even those who are reelected unopposed or with minority votes so small as to be meaningless.

DM26 is a failure. Martin Walsh knows it is. That why he's in here trying to gaslight us.

40 years in job,was gonna stay a couple of years but feel like I’m being forced out,as an ageing delivery person,there’s no night shifts to see out days anymore and the physical side of job is getting way too much,the union is failing members,hopefully I can get through till retirement,but the way things are,I very much doubt it

But hey, Martin's data says theres no problems. That data is based on the gerrymandered targets that now factor in a significant delay to the on time delivery timescales. Martin just can't stop turning down the gaslights whilst telling you they are as bright as they always were.

Martin himself said 769 units deployed and 300 on track for a bonus. Means that 469 are not doing well of the 769. 61% not doing well. When scaled up to 1450 units, 885 won't be doing well. Of 140,000, 85,400 colleagues won't be doing well.

These people are your members Walsh you seem to forget that you are supposed to represent them not vice versa.

Suggesting they are cowards for not wanting to be union reps is an interesting take, you seem angry.

I don't see anyone suggesting there won't be job cuts or that change is not necessary, if you can show some humility you would see that people are saying that the changes you and your pals introduced on behalf of royal mail are ill thought-through and not working.

Perhaps you could come do a Pod? Lead by example...you and Dave, not a cherry picked one, mines will suffice. We'll make a wee video showing how it's done?
