I agree with IPostie except for one thing, lack of management time.

They've had loads of time, if they used it instead of sitting in the office on their phones then maybe they could have actually done some planning.

Exactly this.

I was kicked off my duty as it was being absorbed into a pod I was asked by the staff which bits would be best for them to do after this had been agreed the manager just a green fillet in the frame and ignored everything we agreed. They just couldn’t be bothered.
