The last of the crowns

A message for anyone here that might have worked in the last of the crown offices.

Mine franchised before covid hit.

I remember at that time the national rate for a full timer was approx 23,500 a year.

Assuming all the crowns closed late 2025, what was the last national pay rate?

Also, was it still (mis)selling to old dears that had said no every visit they made? Ah, those halcyon days of selling shite broadband and homephone etc.

Any tales to share here, i would be v interested to hear of the final curtain years, 2019 to 2025.
