Tracked brought back on all but one day since DM26 was introduced in the last week of August, and that's with leaving most if not all letters behind, or bringing some of those loops behind as well. And not all the letters from earlier in the week have been prepped into the frame either. On some jobs, there is maybe over a week's worth of mail sat in trays under and beside frames, going nowhere.

It's madness, there's going to be a point very soon where the parcels and packets will just take up a full day's work, not just during peak but all year round.. unless you want to work a 10-12 hour day tracked and letters just won't be doable..

The days work is the days work. The frames or parts of frames should be clear until the next work day. What you are suggesting puts jobs at risk.

So on a 1c day you visit a property with just 1c mail, then the following day you visit it again with just the 2c mail you had not prepped the previous day.

I thought you were supposed to go through the non 1c and if you had a 1c or a parcel in the light side for an address then you can deliver it, think they they termed it coincidental items.

But I think sms meant they're not allowed to put it all in the day it arrives giving them a head start on tomorrow's work which as trams pointed out is correct as it's the next days work so shouldn't be done.

If you know you cant complete, advise the managers that you wont be able to do so and leave an entire loop in the office or whatever it takes to get you back on time. That way they have to log them as failures. If you take them out for a drive they proudly announce the office is clear and get a pat on the back for making DM26 such a success. Our rep has been telling everyone our office is one of the better ones despite numerous failures every day. It's the new DM26 language. If your office isnt the worst in the area it's classed as a success. We have one office in our area thats failing pretty much everything every day. Thats the benchmark. If your office isn't as bad then theres nothing wrong with it and the problems are just classed as teething problems. Wait til they pull the plug on unlimited OT.
