How long future walks.

The H & S implications of all this could be our saviour. Loo breaks, being out in extremes of heat, cold, & rain for such a long time (heat exhaustion, hypothermia etc) risk assessment of the physical impact of longer, heavier deliveries, not taking sufficient rest, the work time directives referred to earlier. The CWU should be shafting RM with these things not meekly acquiescing to work with such potentially dangerous demands.

I agree, the union should be getting more involved than they seem to be at the moment. It's surprising too, how much variation there is between offices, even ones that are farely local to each other.

Bob Gibson wants to keep the 3-30hr walks,but some areas are worried that with less indoor work we're going to get cut up.
That's why some are going for 4hrs.

When I went on the defunct message board "down the road" , the impression I got was RM Senior Mgt did not like 3hr 30 min at all , and it certainly could be the thin end of the wedge .

You used to get Some good comedy turns on that "site" .
