Re: New trainers
OK, so it's all about trainers now and I can't have DM boots or shoes. Fine. But is it so hard to procure some plain black trainers? I mean, in the present.

Not saying these are exactly perfect but plain black, good make, quite cheap.

Re: New trainers
I've wore my own shoes/trainers for a long time. I need ankle high boots. Merrells are best fit and comfy, no need to break in and last 5/6 months. Had soloman found they are ok but need breaking in and didn't last long. Tried hokas recently and is the comfiest shoes I've worn, but again don't last long and cost a lot. But yeah Merrells get my vote if you want to look after your feet.

Re: New trainers
Look around your delivery office, how many people are actually still wearing Royal Mail shoes?
Those who still do are going to pay for it big time later in life.
Wrecking your feet, knees, & lower back.
Life is far too short to destroy your joints & arches for slightly above minimum wage.
Look after your body now, because the business won't replace your joints for you down the line.

Re: New trainers
Anyone remember that WTLL video from around 2009 (bear with me), where to prove the nay-sayers wrong about the suitability of the footwear they had some guy in harnesses standing on a tilting platform at a ridiculous 45° angle? Whenever it comes to mind I laugh. I think it was the Magnums being tested. I'd happily settle for those again.
