Re: rota options
I'm interested in the options because we've not seen any yet and we're currently on a 9 day fortnight which is great for the long weekend and the Wed/Thur off.

Re: rota options
I assume a 9 day fortnight involves working longer days but getting an extra day off? so around 45 minutes longer each day.... so rounds would have to all be changed....seems like too much work.
How do the days off work? rolling day off?

Thanks, will see what they come up with at our DOchickenwittle wrote: ↑02 Jul 2026, 20:39Mon, tue , Thurs, fri , 8.31 , weds 9.16 , Saturday 6 hours.
The 9.16 Wednesday doesn't look very appealing to be honest, I've got a feeling that RM are going to try and stop us taking 20mins meal relief at the end of shift

Re: rota options
Yeah Wednesday is the only pig of a day but a 6 hour Saturday every week compensates .A2B wrote: ↑02 Jul 2026, 20:46Thanks, will see what they come up with at our DOchickenwittle wrote: ↑02 Jul 2026, 20:39Mon, tue , Thurs, fri , 8.31 , weds 9.16 , Saturday 6 hours.

Re: rota options
That would depend on what time you are finishing on a Saturday?
If you're finishing earlier great but if you are starting later then not much benefit in my eyes

Re: rota options
Morning, is there a template anywhere that shows us how the 2 in 5 rota is structured. I only work 3 days a week and currently have a fixed day off every Thursday, and need to find out if this need to change, TIA

Re: rota options
If you want more Saturdays off, go for 2 in 5. For everything else always go for 9 day fortnight.

Re: rota options
We are starting 2 in 5 soon, it’s looks ok, you also only work 4 days for two of the five weeks ( three only for me on bank holiday week coming later this month
). 8 hour days apart from Wednesday (8.30) and Saturday (7.40). The latest we go home is on Wednesday (2.55pm).
